Despite their size, children can be quite sure of what it is they like (and certainly what they don’t… hello, peas). So when your child becomes passionate about a particular interest, whether it’s dance, art, music, unicorns, building blocks, caterpillars (the list goes on), it can be pretty exciting to help take their fascination to the next level… especially when you’re on vacation and away from the stresses and distractions of every day life.

Kid Meets City aims to do just that. We want to be your go-to resource for discovering amazing activities that cater to your child’s interests… right here in the Big Apple. Sure, there’s nothing like a visit to the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building (we’ll cover those, too), but there are so many unique and fun activities to experience in New York City that go way beyond those attractions.

We look forward to sharing all our favorites with you! We’re opening the gates to our playground for a truly fantastic vacation the whole family will love.

I’ve been answering questions on what to do in New York City from visiting family and friends (and friends of friends!) for the last 20+ years. As a local mom and former parenting blogger, this is a fun conversation, and it’s also how Kid Meets City was born.
