Alice in Wonderland statue in Central Park
A must for your visit to Central Park: a climb on our Alice in Wonderland statue! Philanthropist George Delacorte commissioned this bronze statue as a gift to the children of New York City in 1959, and it has been a beloved treasure ever since. Combine it with a visit to The Metropolitan Museum of Art (a short walk away) & to watch the mini sailboats (or operate one yourself!) at nearby Conservatory Water.
Location:
In Central Park, parallel to East 74th Street, just north of Conservatory Water
